I as an audience listen to music daily, I listen to it first thing in the morning when I am getting ready as well as when I leave my house. I listen to it in the car and also when I am studying. I find music helps pass time and also block out external sounds when I want to concentrate. I listen to a variety of music depending on if I am listening alone or with friends and also depending on what I am doing. If I am walking or going running I listen to more fast pace energizing music, in the morning I tend to just press shuffle and listen to a variety however I listen to more calm music when studying. I listen to music both on the radio and my phone, I listen to music I have downloaded and also on you tube.
Music is able to heighten feelings and emotions. Fast pace music make you feel energized and slower songs may make you feel sadness. Some songs may be associated with memories or people which can make an audience feel both sad or happy. Music also allows the audience to feel the emotions of the artist.
